The Challenge
Family restaurant chain Denny’s had recently added some exciting new entrees, desserts, and appetizers to its menu. They needed an ad campaign that made the launch of the expanded menu feel like a monumental event in its own right.
The Solution
By turning the rectangular frames of bus stop and street corner signs into giant spatulas, the “Come hungry” campaign made new and classic menu items seem larger-than-life. It offered the added benefit of built-in social media buzz, since the giant spatulas made for some irresistible selfie backdrops.
